From Palermo Viejo, visitors easily connect to touristic points of the city. Bus route 152 provides quick transportation to Recoleta in 10 minutes and El Centro (downtown) in 25 minutes. The D Line subte (subway) runs through Palermo Viejo and stations are Palermo, Plaza Italia and Scalabrini Ortiz. The stations are five blocks apart and less than 3 minutes apart. Scalabrini Ortiz is the closest stop to El Centro, and the journey takes less than 15 minutes. These times are estimates and depend on traffic on the roads and time. A quick tip, plan breakfast and your high tea at peak transport times as it stinks!
