Avenida Corrientes Avenue
Avenida Corrientes 300
Avenida Corrientes is one of Buenos Aires' most important avenues. The most famous image of this avenue is where it intersects with Avenida 9 de Julio (9th of July Avenue) and rings around the fabulous Obelisk. Avenida Corrientes runs towards downtown and is lined with elegant theatres, subway and bus lines, restaurants and shops. True to tradition, Corrientes is also filled with antique cafes and bookstores. There are many money exchange houses but these tend to have high commissions and we suggest using the Banco National de Argentina. Subte Carlos Pellegrini Línea B
