Buenos Aires is one of the most impressive cities in the world, its unique character was built on Spanish colonialism, British capital, smuggling, piracy, political and social upheaval, and mass European immigration, all of which contributed and to some extent still flourish in a truly cultured, diverse and tolerant multi-cultural melting pot.  Buenos Aires’ diversity, tolerance, history, and eclectic nature give rise to its energy, passion, and elegance and when you watch tango - you watch the very essence of Buenos Aires.

The immigrant populations have signposted their arrival with amazing avenues and boulevards that offer some of the most inspired and diverse ‘euro-tecture’ seen anywhere.  Buenos Aires’ grandeur and underlying poverty, the Porteños love affair with good honest beef and potatoes cuisine, the fine Argentinean wines and Buenos Aires’ very distinctive districts (barrios) make this one of the most fantastic cities for the inspired vacationer.
