| This lovely apartment is located in Palermo district. Palermo’s name is derived from the still-existing Franciscan abbey of Saint Benedict of Palermo, an alternative name for Saint Benedict the Moor. The land would have been originally purchased by Juan Domingo Palermo, an italian immigrant, shortly after Buenos Aires foundation in 1580. The area grew rapidly thanks to the presidency of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, responsible for the creation of the Buenos Aires Zoological Gardens and the Parque Tres de Febrero, and Plaza Italia and the Palermo Race Track, all must-sees while you stay in Buenos Aires. This studio is furnished for comfort with a sommier bed, a sofa and a coffee table in the living room area, a TV with VHS, DVD and home theater; a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Subway D line (Palermo Station) is just a few blocks away, which connects you with Belgrano, Recoleta, Congreso and Centro (Downtown). |
