What is the shortest time I can rent an apartment?
BA Stay finds tourists and expatriates apartments for a long weekend, or truly flexible rental plans up to six months with an option to renew your agreement for one year. We aim to offer travelers the most flexible terms possible to suit both their travel plans and budgets. If you check out our property particulars, we publish both the minimum and maximum rental periods available for each apartment. |
Any hidden charges?
We charge a flat fee of just USD$45. Our fee includes:
- processing your reservation
- preparing a rental agreement
- meeting you at the apartment on arrival
- check in compliance
- telephone concierge services 09h00 to 21h00
- 24/7 emergency help line. .

Just USD$20 for out of ours-check-in
If you check in out-of- hours or at a weekend, or on a public holiday, clients pay the concierge team an additional USD$20. This payment is not for the company. The payment goes directly to our staff members for staying late or arriving earlier than their work hours and is instead of a gratuity. |
What does the rent include?
Your rent payment is fully inclusive of all costs and includes all services, local taxes and utilities, apart from telephone calls. Every client receives a free rental mobile phone for the duration of your BA Stay subject to our standard terms and conditions (please ask). You avoid calling cards and expensive international roaming charges; you get a local number before you arrive; and a phone delivered direct to your door on arrival. Apartment landlines prohibit both international and mobile phone calls and require that you buy credit. Apartments come with a cleaning service and change of towels and linens at least once a week. How do I reserve my apartment?

- Check the online calendar to make sure that your dates are available.
- Complete the on-line reservation form.
- Please confirm your request by completing our fact-find sent to you by our reservations team, this is most important as the questions we ask ensure that you get the right apartment and that you meet the terms offered by the owner – some apartments will not take children, others only take family groups, etc.
- An advisor will contact you within 24 hours or the next business day to confirm availability and advise on the next step to complete the reservation process.
- If you cannot wait or your requirement is very urgent, email info@bastay.com and call (00541148079046) during advertised office hours.
- If you want to check in out-of-office-hours, weekend or bank holiday or same day call (0054911) 59392813 from abroad or 1559392813 when in Buenos Aires.

How do I guarantee my reservation?
Once you receive our full and final quotation confirming the totals cost:
Example for a rent of 1 week advertised @ US$500, US$500 Security Deposit:
20% Reservation Deposit $ 100.00 (payable now)
Administration Charge $ 45.00 (payable now)
Rent Balance Payable $ 400.00 (payable in cash at check-in)
Refundable Security Deposit $500.00 (payable in cash at check-in/returned at check-out)
Total: $900.00
* We quote and you pay rent and our fee in USA Dollars.
Completing your reservation could not be simpler. You must immediately pay 20% of the total rent and our fee as a non-refundable rent down payment.
- You pay the balance of your rent at check-in.
- We use PayPal’s secure bank transfer, credit card, or debit card payment systems to receive your deposit payment and our fee.
- Please see PayPal - one of the world’s most secure online global payment systems, www.paypal.com – we send you a PayPal generated email invoice, simply click the ‘Pay Immediately By Credit or Debit Card Link ’ or if you already have a PayPal account, use the send money option and pay paypal@buenosairesstay.com . You pay additional merchant fee of 4%.
- If you do not want to pay on-line, you may transfer the full rent and security deposit to a US or European bank account. If you want to pay by bank transfer, please contact our offices.
- You may also pay by Western Union.
- Please note: We cannot confirm your reservation until we receive your rental deposit payment or rent in full.

How do I get into my apartment?
You may make your own way to your apartment and we set your check-in time for 2-hours after your airplane touches down or the concierge team can arrange an airport pickup. You simply tell us when you will arrive and a member of our team will be at the airport to collect you 3-minutes after you arrive and take you to the apartment and handover your keys. If your check-in time is earlier than 09h00 or at 19h00 or later, or it is Saturday, Sunday or a Public Holiday late check-in fees will apply. |
When do I pay the balance of my rent and security deposit?
Our concierge will meet you at your apartment to complete our check-in compliance process and sign your rental agreement with the owner. At check-in, the owner will ask you to pay the balance of your rent and a security deposit - property owners only accept US Dollars or Euros by agreement. Please bring the exact amount of cash to the check-in. The maximum you may withdraw from a local ATM is USD$300.00 (or less, depending on your card and your bank) so do not rely on finding money on arrival. Please remember that if you cannot pay your rent balance and security deposit, you cannot check-in! If we have to arrange another check in you will have to pay a reduced administration fee of USD$30.00. |
Who checks me out?
You must check out at 10h00 AM on the day of departure. Generally, the property owner will check you out and hand back your security deposit. Make sure that you arrange check-outs with us when booking your apartment. If you want a late check-out, some owners charge an additional day’s rent. |
What if something goes wrong or I need some advice about my apartment?
Remember that we do not own or manage the property that you rent. BA Stay apartments is a publisher. However, our concierge will check you into your apartment and we provide contact details for both the property owner and our concierge team. Your concierge is available by telephone between 09h00 and 21h00 to answer all your queries and provide advice - mobile no. 1559392813. Out-of-hour you may contact the concierge team in an emergency. All emails to concierge@bastay.com answered within 24-hours. The property owner and our concierge will assist you for the duration of your Luxury BA Stay.
